Technical specifications

Precision

The design combining high-strength aluminum and steel offers an excellent balance between rigidity and weight. The frame transmits your input precisely, while the full suspension follows the movement of the terrain. A foundation for making the most of your technique in turns as well as on a race course.

Kinematics

Three positions let you adapt the suspension movement. The first favors an almost vertical travel, particularly suited to slalom, freeride and Dualski. The third supports carving by moving the center of gravity forward during compression. The intermediate position offers versatile behavior.

Modularity

The Scarver accepts a Uniski or Dualski base. Enjoy the responsiveness of a single ski on the piste or the stability and flotation of two skis in soft snow. Changing the base lets you adapt your equipment to the conditions and your wishes.

Adjustments

The seat angle and the position of the center of gravity let you fine-tune your setup. On the Uniski, a graduated rail makes fore-aft adjustment easy. On the Dualski, the edge-grip adjustment changes the behavior between the «Performance» and «Carving +» positions.

Boarding

The release button is easy to reach. Once released, pushing on the outriggers raises the frame to prepare for boarding the chairlift. In the raised position, its balance and polyethylene contact plate make it easier to get onto the seat and to unload.

FAQ

Which skiers is the Scarver designed for?

The Scarver is designed for experienced sit-skiers, freeriders and racers looking for high performance and extensive adjustments. If you are starting out or prefer something easier to get to grips with, the Tempo Uniski, Dualski and Access let you choose equipment suited to your needs.

What is the difference between the Uniski and Dualski bases?

The Uniski favors responsiveness and control on a single ski. The Dualski provides the flotation of two skis in freeride and greater stability, especially in soft snow. The Scarver lets you use both configurations on the same frame, provided you have the corresponding bases and equipment.

What position adjustments are possible?

The standard seat angle is adjustable from 30° to 40°, in 2° increments. A configuration with a range of 15° to 20° is also available. On the Uniski, the center of gravity is adjusted on a 70 mm graduated rail. The Uniski base is available in standard height or lowered by 25 mm.

Which shock absorber should you choose?

The Scarver can be fitted with an Öhlins PRC, with compression and rebound adjustment, or an Öhlins TTX to fine-tune the suspension even further. Our team will help you choose the shock absorber and settings according to your weight, your riding and your expectations.

The Scarver shock absorbers are not compatible with those of the Tempo frames; the mounting bushings are different.

Which seats and leg protections are available?

The TESSIER seats come in seven sizes, including a child size, with different backrest heights and widths and gelcoat or carbon finishes. The footrest is available in four sizes, S to XL. You can complete your setup with a fabric cover or a Racing shell. The latter is compatible with the S footrest and is used with neoprene booties.

How do I choose my configuration?

Your level, your usual terrain, your build and your balance guide the choice of base, seat and suspension. Contact our team to put together a coherent configuration and to find out about the trial options. The Scarver can then be completed with outriggers, protections and accessories suited to your practice.

What are the weight and size of the Scarver?

The frame alone without a shock absorber weighs 8.6 kg. In the Uniski version with an Öhlins shock absorber, it weighs 9.8 kg. A complete Uniski set including frame, shock absorber, seat and shell is available from 16 kg. These values correspond to different equipment; the final weight depends on your configuration.

L: 37 to 53 cm depending on the seat used
l1: approx. 100cm
H1: 63 to 73cm

Complete Scarver Uniski (frame, shock absorber, seats, shell): from 16 kg / 35lb
