FAQ
Is the Swaik only for experienced riders?
No. It is suitable for beginners as well as experienced riders and competitors. The choice of position, seat and board allows the equipment to be adapted. To get started, get in touch with an organization that offers sit-down wakeboarding instruction.
What is the difference between the Swaik and the Swaik Air?
The Swaik favors a direct connection with the board and uses Full-Flex to preserve its dynamism and provide comfort. The Swaik Air adds a full Active Stability suspension for more damping and stability. Both models remain adjustable and suit several skill levels.
Does the Swaik have a shock absorber?
The Swaik presented here does not have the full suspension of the Swaik Air. Its Full-Flex system allows the board to flex beneath the frame: it contributes to comfort and dynamism, without working as a full suspension between the seat and the board.
What adjustments are possible?
You can adjust the height, seat angle and center of gravity. The front of the seat has an adjustment range of 10 cm (about 4 in) and the rear has a range of 8 cm (about 3 in). Since 2024, a single frame model replaces the two previous versions to simplify the choice and the adjustments.
How do I choose the seat and the foot support?
Seven seat sizes are available, including a child size, in gelcoat or, on request, carbon. The backrest can be adapted to your mobility. The TESSIER boot offers two ways of securing the feet; the choice of support must be consistent with the seat and the level of supervision of the activity. Our team will help you with this configuration.
Which boards is it compatible with?
The Swaik mounts on most boards thanks to its adjustable plates. A length between 140 and 160 cm (55 to 63 in) is a good starting point, to be fine-tuned according to the rider and the type of riding. Fins can help beginners; using the modules requires a suitable board without fins. We notably offer a Goodboards board designed for sitwake.
Here is our compatibility sheet for boards.
How much does it weigh and where can I try it?
The frame alone weighs 3.3 kg (7.3 lb), without the seat and board. Equipped facilities let you discover seated wakeboarding or try out the equipment. Check our trial map, then contact the facility directly to confirm that a Swaik is available and the conditions for visiting.
