FAQ
Who is the Trialp for?
It is intended for people who want to drive an electric all-terrain wheelchair independently, for hiking or more sporty use. You must be able to use the controls and handle the driving. A trial lets you assess the setup, handling and how well the equipment fits your needs.
Does it have three driven wheels?
The Trialp has three motors, one for each wheel. The rear wheel provides both drive and steering. This architecture contributes to the Trialp's traction and to its riding feel on trails.
What range can you expect?
The version fitted with a 3,360 Wh lithium battery is rated for up to 100 km on flat terrain, or a route with roughly 1,800 to 2,300 m of positive elevation gain. These are indicative figures, not a guaranteed distance: range varies with the terrain, the surface, the weight carried, the temperature and the riding style, among other factors. Motor braking can recover part of the energy during deceleration.
The stated full charging time is approximately 4 h 30 min.
What is the top speed and how does it brake?
The stated top speed is 25 km/h. Three driving modes offer different maximum speeds to suit how it is used. Braking combines a hydraulic disc brake on each wheel with an electric motor brake on the front wheels, with energy recovery.
How can the driving position be adapted?
The handlebar is adjustable and folds down. The throttle lever can be installed on the right or the left, and the footrest can be adjusted without tools. The foldable front wheels also make access easier during transfer. A trial makes it possible to check these adaptations in real conditions.
What space should you allow for transport?
The Trialp measures approximately 199 cm long and 105 cm wide with the front wheels extended, with a stated weight of 142 kg depending on the configuration. The wheels fold and the roll bar is removable to reduce its footprint. We help you check the relevant dimensions and the transport solution suited to your vehicle.
