How to transport your Trialp?

3 Trialps loaded in a Renault Trafic

Heading off on an adventure in your electric all-terrain wheelchair is great. Being able to take it anywhere with ease is even better!

That's why, at TESSIER, we designed the Trialp to be as practical to transport and store as it is enjoyable to drive. So let's look together at how to transport your Trialp.

An all-terrain wheelchair designed to save space!

One of the great strengths of the Trialp, is its foldable front wheels. In just a few steps, they considerably reduce its footprint, down to approximately 63 cm wide.

Combined with its folding handlebar and removable safety bar, the foldable front wheels also make it easier to transfer from your wheelchair to the Trialp seat. These features also reduce its overall size to simplify storage and transport, without requiring a specific trailer in many situations.

A real advantage for individuals as well as for associations and organizations that transport several chairs.

Several ways to transport your Trialp

In a van or utility vehicle

Thanks to its compact design, several Trialp can be transported in the same vehicle. For example:

  • 2 Trialps in a Volkswagen Transporter T5, depending on its layout.
  • 3 Trialps in a Renault Trafic, as we do at TESSIER!

Simply fold the front wheels and remove the protective bars to make the most of the available space.

On a rear-mounted carrier

Some of our customers use a suitable carrier mounted on the back of their vehicle. A practical solution to save interior space, provided you have an approved carrying system rated for the weight of the Trialp.

On a trailer

A trailer remains an attractive option for transporting one or more Trialp, especially for clubs, associations or group outings.

Whatever the mode of transport, it is essential to secure the equipment properly and to respect the vehicle's load capacity.

Less bulk, more freedom!

Beyond its performance on the trails, the Trialp was designed to simplify the moments before and after your outing too.

Less space taken up in the garage, more opportunities to set off on an adventure! Its foldable wheels and removable parts let it adapt to different means of transport, without sacrificing the enjoyment of riding.

Because the freedom to explore also starts with how easily you can transport your equipment.
