Para wakeboard 2026: a season of podiums and outstanding performances!

The 2026 para wakeboard season delivered on every promise! From the French Championships to international competitions, riders once again pushed their limits. A look back at a year full of performances, medals and emotions for sitwake.

French Championships: sitwake in the spotlight

From July 10 to 12, the Téléski Nautique du Gers, together with the Wake N’Gers association, hosted the 2026 Cable Wakeboard French Championships.

Among the 133 participants, the para wakeboard athletes delivered some great performances. In sitwake, Sylvain Dubois took first place ahead of Bastien Perret and Émilien Chedeville, confirming the vitality of the discipline in France.

World Championships: Meije Bidault keeps her title!

From August 8 to 15, the best international riders gathered in Beijing, China, for the Cable Wakeboard World Championships.

The French team won 4 medals, including 2 world champion titles. Meije Bidault delivered a superb performance and kept her title as sitwake world champion !

In the men's category, Poland's Bartosz Weselak won ahead of his compatriot Igor Sikorski and Israel's Henry Chen.

European Championships: the show goes on in Belgium

In early October, we headed to Likeside Paradise in Belgium for the Cable Wakeboard European Championships.

In women's sitwake, Inge Nys (Belgium) took gold on home soil ahead of Hannah Crossley (United Kingdom) and Meije Bidault (France), who adds another medal to her season.

In the men's category, Henry Chen won the European title, followed byAlexander Helander and Bartosz Weselak. The Frenchman Bastien Perret finished in a great fourth place.
